The eight-day meeting of all Salvation Army leaders from Territorial Headquarters, Divisions, Regions and Salvation Army Health Foundation was summed up in the activities of the Territorial Leaders Conference (TLC) and Appointment Changes which was held from 28 January to 4 February 2025 at Oakwood Hotel Bandung and continued in the Territorial Headquarters Bandung Jabez Room, 3rd floor.
The activity was officially kicked off and closed by the Territorial Commander, Commissioner Yusak Tampai, with the hope that through this TLC, recommendations can be made that will bring the Salvation Army services and ministries forward and have a greater impact on Salvationists and the wider community.
The day began with a presentation on the introduction of the new Salvation Army Governance by Colonel Mark Watts from the Australia Territory, who is also a representative of the International Headquarters. In his presentation, Colonel Watts explained the Organizational Principles of Governance as well as Functions of Governance which will later be referred to changes in the structure of the Salvation Army Governance, especially Indonesia Territory.
Over the course of TLC, the participants were gifted with God-given health and wisdom to discuss many topics, be it the future of the Salvation Army or the appointment changes for officers in 2025.
Join us in praying that every initiative discussed, even the decisions taken by our Leaders in these activities will be of God's will for the Salvation Army ministries and services in Indonesia.
