Where there is a need, there is Salvation Army, a manifestation of the call to serve that is applied according to the motto “Heart to God, Hands outstretched to others”. APS volunteers have long been active in areas experiencing natural disasters, both national in scope such as the Tsunami, the Central Sulawesi liquefaction earthquake, and local scope disasters but with a wide impact on the community. In handling assistance for disaster victims, the APS Bala Keselamatan Team always partners with the government and various humanitarian organizations, so that the assistance provided can be received directly by those affected. APS teams in several regions also regularly carry out caring activities to share food, basic necessities, clothing, cooking utensils, children's school needs, and others.
